Include Parents On E-Mail To Scouts

You may have noticed a new checkbox on the Compose E-Mail page, Send To Parents of Selected Scouts.

If you check this box, the system will look up the parents of all of the scouts you've selected to receive this message, and will send it to them as well.

It will also send SMS text messages to the parents' SMS addresses.

Set E-Mail Defaults

Site administrators can configure the default settings for the Send as BCC checkbox and the new Send To Parents Of Selected Scouts checkbox.

These values will be used when any memberr of your troop composes an e-mail.

They can still change the value when they create a new e-mail, but the values will default to the values set here.

Scouts Ready For Scoutmaster Conference or Board Of Review

We added a report to the Advancement Reports menu that will identify all of the scouts who only need a Scoutmaster Conference and/or a Board of Review to earn their next rank.

If they have completed either of these requirements, it will show the date in that column.  If they still need it, the column will be blank.

Upload Banners At Full Resolution

Several troops noticed that our system was compressing the banner images that they uploaded to their site using the Site Appearance page, and asked us to load their banners at full resolution.

We responded by turning off the compression on the banner upload, so it will now display at the original resolution of your image.

You may still want to compress the image before you upload it, since a very large image file can make your site load more slowly, especially on mobile devices.

Please let us know if you have any questions or suggestions about these or any other features.

Thank you for your support!
