Venturing Crews

You now have the ability to define venturing crews separate from patrols.

Each scout may be assigned to a patrol and a venturing crew.

Venturing crews are easy to set up - just enter the name of the crew.

Then from the Active Scouts page you can select the crew for each individual scouts.

A complete Venturing Roster may be displayed or saved to PDF or Excel.

Mic-O-Say Tribal Name

Many troops in the Midwest participate in Mic-O-Say.

The Mic-O-Say ranks can be set up in TroopWebHost as Awards, but up until now there was no place to save the Tribal Name that is assigned to each member.

You'll find this new field on the Active Scouts and Active Adults pages.

You'll also find it included in the Export Roster To Excel.

Automation of New TroopWebHost Subscriptions and Renewals

The Renew Subscription page allows you pay your TroopWebHost subscription renewal on-line via PayPal, but up until last week we were still posting these payments manually.

That's all been automated, so the payment will be posted to your account within a few minutes of completing your transaction.

Similarly for new subscribers, your site will now be available within a few minutes of placing your order.

NOTE: We were unable to automate the custom URL process, so if you have a custom URL please do not wait until the last minute to pay your renewal!   You could still risk losing your domain name.

Please let us know if you have any questions or suggestions about these or any other features.

Thank you for your support!
