It Begins With Membership
Your membership leader is responsible for entering information about new scouts and adults into the database.
This will collect information such as:
- Scout contact information (name, address, e-mail address, etc.)
- Parent contact information
- User ID and password for troop web site
Once you complete this form, other leaders can enter information about this scout without having to re-key the basics.

Scout Registration
You can see a larger image of this form by moving your mouse over the image to the left.
This form is designed to follow the content and order of the standard BSA membership application form.
The top part of the form is all about the new scout - name, address, school, etc. You can also record whether he has signed up
for Boys Life and the date he filed his Class 1 medical form.
The middle part of the form is where you assign a User ID and password to this scout. This will allow him to log on to the troop web site.

Parent/Guardian Information
The lower part of the form allows you to create a record for the parent or guardian listed on the application form.
If the parent is already in the database, you can link this scout to the existing record instead of re-entering the information.
If not, you simply fill in the blanks to create a new record for this adult, which will be linked to this scout.

Adult Leaders
You can enter additional information for those parents who are leaders in the troop on a separate form.
It is not necessary to re-enter any of the basic information that was collected on the scout registration form.
However, if this leader is not a parent or guardian, you can use this form to create a complete record.
This form allows you to upload a photo of the adult leader, which will be displayed on the Adult Leaders page available to the public.
The About Me paragraph will also be displayed on that page.

|
The lower part of the form collects information the troop needs to know about adult leaders. This information is NOT available to the public.
It allows you to indicate whether the leader has attended Youth Protection training or Fast Start training.
It also lets you collect their drivers license and vehicle information, which you may need for a future tour permit.
Finally, at the bottom of the screen is a link to this parent's scouts. You can use this to link a second parent or guardian to their boys.
