Tips & Tricks

Here’s a great way to make packing for camp easier, especially for new campers.

Put a complete set of class B’s (shirt, shorts, socks, underwear) in a 1-gallon zip lock bag, and label it “Sunday” with a sharpie marker.  Make a separate bag for each day the scout will be away at camp, including travel days.  Use one more bag for “Extras” – socks and underwear.

Each evening after the scout showers, he can put on, and sleep in, his clean clothes for the next day.  He’ll sleep clean, which will help keep his sleeping bag fresh, and be ready for action first thing in the morning!
