Rank Requirements Automatically Calculated

You now have the option of having the system automatically calculate two types of rank requirements:

  • Number of months active since last rank advancement for Star, Life, Eagle and Eagle Palms
  • Community service hours since last rank advancement for Star and Life

To configure this option, go to Advancement --> Automated Requirements, where you will see a page that looks like the one pictured above.

More information on this new feature is available in our User Guide.

Select Old Rank Requirements

From time to time, the BSA™ changes the requirements for one or more ranks.  TroopWebHost has always supported these changes, but until now you were not able to control which version of the requirements would be applied to an individual scout.

At the bottom of each rank advancement page, you will now see a drop down list (as shown above) to select the version of this rank's requirements that will be applied to this scout.

For scouts that have not yet begun working on this rank, you can select a different version of the requirements.

To learn more about this feature, please go to our User Guide.

Sign Up For Events From The Calendar

A number of troops have asked for the ability to sign up for events directly from the troop calendar.  This feature is now available.

When you select a future event from the calendar, the detail page now has a sign up section as shown above.

This has one row for each member of your family.  Click on the checkbox next to the name to indicate that this family member plans to attend, then click Save or Save & Exit.

Order of the Arrow Adult Eligibility Report

You can now easily determine which adults meet the camping requirements for Order of the Arrow with this new report.

From the Advancement Reports submenu, select Order of the Arrow Adult Eligibility to see this report.

Thank you for your support!
