Yes Or No?  Now You'll Know For Sure

We received a number of requests over the past year to allow members to indicate they do NOT plan to attend an event.
We are pleased to announce that this feature is now available.

We'll show you how this works, but first we'd like to thank our newest subscribers:

New Options on Sign-Up Page

When members of your troop select Sign-Up For Upcoming Events from the My Stuff menu, they now have the ability to answer either Yes or No.

This makes it possible to distinguish those members who really do not plan to attend from those who have simply not responded.

Add and Update Events

Those same radio buttons are also available on the Sign-up List tab on the Add and Update Events page.

And at the bottom of this page, you will see a new set of buttons.

E-Mail Participants lets you send an e-mail to everyone who signed up for the event.

E-Mail Undecideds lets you send an e-mail to everyone who hasn't indicated whether or not they plan to go.

Newsletter "Reply To" Address

If your troop is using the Automated Newsletter to send regular reminders to your troop, please take a minute to fill in a new parameter that indicates where to send any replies to the newsletter e-mail.

Select Automated Newsletter from the Administration menu to view this page.

Enter your e-mail address - or that of your scoutmaster or committee chair - in the new field.  Then press the Save button to save your work.

If your troop is NOT using the Automated Newsletter, why not?  This is a great way to send a personalized e-mail to every member of your troop with information about upcoming events, account balances, requirements for next rank advancement, and more.  See our User Guide for more information.

Thank you for your support!
