HTML 5

HTML is the universal language of the Internet, the language in which all web pages are written.  The language has evolved over the years and the latest version, HTML 5, is a major leap forward.

Your TroopWebHost site is now fully compatible with HTML 5, which means it will display properly in the latest versions of all browsers, including Internet Explorer 11.

You may not notice much difference in the appearance of the site, although if you use Internet Explorer or Firefox you will see that some pages, like the Indivudal Transaction entry page shown below, will collapse the unused space that changes based on the transaction type selected.

Custom CSS

The Site Appearance page now has two tabs. The second tab, CSS (Advanced), will take you to the page shown below.

This page is only intended for advanced users with experience in HTML and CSS.  It allows you to customize your site appearance by uploading a custom CSS file.

Select your user ID from the CSS Trial User drop down list to prevent other users from seeing the effect of your custom URL while you are trying it out.

Please let us know if you have any questions or suggestions about these or any other features.

Thank you for your support!
